From I-64 at Exit 53, take RT 127 north about 3 miles then take RT 1005 (Devils Hollow Rd.) west(left turn). Go west on RT 1005 several miles (unknown distance - maybe 3 miles?). The swimming hole is on the left,identifiable by the closed and deteriorating railroad bridge. This swimming hole is no more than 40 minutes out of Frankfort.
This is the way I've always gotten there, however friends less familiar with the area have had success with Google's directions as well.

Small stream, generally shallow with most parts not being deeper than four feet. The bottom is fairly rocky and the current is reasonably slow. However, it floods quickly during heavy rain so be aware of the weather for the day as well as the preceding days and be prepared to leave if rain does begin to fall.
