Haleakala is a crater located in the center of the island of Maui, you can follow signs from most places on the island.

Once you reach the crater you can hike around in the crater. Bring a coat even though this is Hawai'i it gets snow.

Can take horses on trails up to the crater it is about a 15 minute drive from the bottom to the top.
