The campground is about a tenth of a mile from Big Springs where it gets its name. All the camping sites have pull-throughs with some shade and fair privacy. There are about 15 total camping spots with tables and grills.
Taking a look at Big Springs is worth it. A lot of water pours out here. It is one of the largest springs in the country and is a major source of the Henry's Fork. The water has some monster trout in it, but fishing is not allowed. The fish are fun to feed for children.
No flushing toilets or showers. There are no RV hookups, but there is a dump station down the road by US 20 that charges a fee. The dump station has potable water as well.
