From Kanab drive East on 89 for about 9 miles, until you see a sign to
turn left on Johnson Canyon Rd. Drive about 11.3-11.6 miles and
there's a dirt road on the right side that you take. You have to cross
a wash that's pretty sandy, so 4 wheel drive is necessary. There are a
couple forks in the road. Stay left. With 4 wheel drive, you can park
just down hill from the caves.

A bunch of sand caves/mines. There are some pits with old ladders, and at least one pit in particular that you can descend with a rope.
