There is a turn off to the parking lot right near the junction of the lower loop and the South Yellowstone Entrance road. You really can't miss this one.

West Thumb is an easy hike with paved trails and board walks. It is located right on the edge of Yellowstone Lake.

Fishing cone is one of the coolest features. It gets it's name because people used to fish in the lake, then turn around and cook their fish in the hot pool cone.

There are several other hot pools on the two loops here.
