Balmorhea State Park's main attraction is a large spring pool that is open daily and fed by San Solomon Springs.

The pool is 1 3/4 acres, 25-feet deep and has a constant temperature around 72 to 76 degrees. Swimming and scuba diving are both allowed. There is a variety of aquatic life in the pool. Plenty of room for people to swim and a great place to learn scuba diving.
