There are 3 different yurts available at Galena Lodge.
The Senate View Yurt overlooks the Senate Meadows, located at the southern end of the ridge, near Star's Perch. It is the closest to the Lodge and sledding hill. Sleeps eight people with 2 bunks with a double futon couch on the bottom. There is also a double futon couch.
The Star's Perch Yurt is the newest yurt. It has a lot of windows, sleeps 8 with 3 bunks. 1 bunk has single bottom, other 2 have double futon on bottom.
The Honeymoon Yurt is the furthest from the lodge and tucked into the trees for privacy, hence the name. Honeymoon yurt sleeps four on two double futons.
Each yurt is furnished with a wood stove for heat, propane stove and fuel for cooking, lanterns, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cups and mugs, coffee pots and percolators or filters, paper towels, toilet paper, newspaper, firewood, matches, books, games, snow shovels, and beds with foam mats.
