From Boise take the firt exit to mountain home, or the last exit coming from Jerome. The exit only goes South. Just after the Gas station on the right take a right on the old highway. Drive about 5.4 miles to a road that turns left to cross the RR tracks. Just after the tracks take the fork to the left. At the next fork stay right. Follow the main road and your vision to the Crater Rings. WATCH FOR SNAKES DURING SUMMER.

A breathtaking sight for anyone who hasn't been here. Two craters supposedly formed by gas eruptions lie below. The larger of the two is a half mile across and several hundred feet deep. We found numerous rattlesnakes in the peak of snake season so be warned.

Rock / Ice Climbing - (0)

The walls of the craters consist of basalt cliffs of varying heights and would be great for climbers of all skill levels.
